Yong-seob Shin, president of EBS, and Ti Tzun, vice president of China’s CCTV, met together at the CCTV headquarters in Beijing on January 17. On that day, they signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual cooperation in the presence of 20 or so parties, which included Gyeong-jae Lee, chairman of the Korea Communications Commission (KCC); Hu Zinfan, president of CCTV; as well as other KCC and CCTV executives. Based on the MOU, the two broadcasting companies will increase mutual exchange and cooperation over the development of new learning and creative contents.
